Strengthening digital health collaboration across the Caribbean and Latin America
As part of Interreg Cooperation Day, under the umbrella of the Interreg Caribbean programme and its SAVOIR project, an interactive workshop took place in August 22 in Cali with the Universidad ICESI and the Fundación Valle del Lili.
The day brought together public health professionals, academic researchers, and local decision makers, creating an open space where knowledge and best practices could flow freely across borders.
Discussions focused on digital health and capacity building, illustrating how Interreg support enables practical solutions that connect regions and people who might not usually meet.
The event demonstrated that cooperation is not limited to Europe: it thrives wherever communities are ready to share expertise and build stronger health systems together.
