STRENGTHENING CARIBBEAN HEALTH RESEARCH THROUGH DOSCCAR2

The Interreg Caraïbes 2021–2027 programme, committed to fostering transnational cooperation across the Caribbean, highlights DOSCCAR2, a pioneering initiative that unites public health institutions and universities to build stronger regional research capacity.

As part of the Interreg Cooperation Day 2025 celebrations, DOSCCAR2 will take the spotlight on 30 September 2025 during a Side Event at the French Embassy in Washington, D.C., held within the framework of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) Summit, which gathers representatives from 40 to 50 member countries of the Pan American Health Organization. Together with PAHO partners, the project will showcase its collaborative approach to advancing Caribbean health resilience.

By strengthening research capacity and fostering cross-border cooperation, DOSCCAR2 demonstrates how Interreg Caraïbes supports innovation and knowledge-sharing for a healthier Caribbean future.
