Celebrating 35 Years of Interreg through a Bake-Off Challenge

On 16 December, the Interreg Hungary–Serbia Programme marked thirty-five years of the Interreg programme through a creative Bake-Off Challenge organised within the Feeding Future project, as part of the “Communication and Branding” training course.

The activity brought together participants in a warm and engaging setting, centred around the presentation of the Bread of Cooperation - a symbolic bread representing collaboration, knowledge exchange, tradition and innovation. The initiative offered a hands-on way to reflect on the values that have shaped Interreg over the past thirty-five years.

Through shared participation and informal exchange, the event highlighted how cooperation can be communicated in an accessible and creative way. The Bake-Off Challenge also demonstrated how projects such as Feeding Future contribute to making Interreg’s impact visible and relatable.

This video from the event captures the collaborative spirit of the celebration and its strong connection to Interreg’s core values.
