Interreg in Romania: Sharing Best Practices Online – 27 August 2025

On 27 August 2025, an online event will take place in Bucharest as part of the Interreg in Romania national campaign, aiming to promote Interreg best practices to the Romanian online audience. The event will be held in Romanian and will showcase opportunities for cooperation and funding within the Interreg community.

Agenda highlights include:

• Funding opportunities within Interreg programmes

• Cooperation opportunities at the macro-regional level under the EUSDR

• Examples of Interreg projects relevant to the Danube Region, including:

  1. COMMHERITOUR Project, Interreg Danube Region Programme – partner: Sibiu County Council

  2. DANUCRAFT Project, Interreg Danube Region Programme – partner: Politehnica Bucharest

  3. DISMAR Project, Interreg VI A Romania-Bulgaria Programme – lead partner: AFDJ Galați

  4. Bega Canal Rehabilitation Project, Interreg IPA Romania–Serbia Programme – partner: Timis County Council

The event will also include a question and answer session, allowing partners and participants to share experiences and insights.
