Strengthening regional cooperation between Réunion and the Comoros

As part of Interreg Cooperation Day, the Interreg Indian Ocean Programme supported a strategic workshop bringing together representatives from Réunion and the Comoros to strengthen regional cooperation.

The meeting focused on shared commitments to sustainable development, climate resilience and community-focused initiatives, highlighting the continued importance of territorial cooperation in the region.

Organised with the support of the Région Réunion and Comorian authorities, the workshop underlined Interreg’s long-standing role in fostering collaboration across borders and building a more resilient future for the Indian Ocean.
