EUROACE TID4Agro Event: Digital innovation meets olive oil

As part of the Interreg Cooperation Day, the INTAEX Auditorium in Badajoz will host on 8 October 2025 the TID4AGRO Event: Innovation and Challenges in the Olive Oil Sector of the EUROACE Region. The event will highlight how digital tools and new technologies are modernising the olive oil industry, boosting competitiveness and sustainability.

The TID4AGRO project, from Interreg Spain-Portugal (POCTEP), brings together 12 partners from Spain and Portugal to introduce solutions like sensors, AI, IoT, and data analysis for more efficient, high-quality, and low-carbon olive oil production.

The programme includes presentations, demonstrations, and debates on irrigation, harvest timing, olive varieties, and a digital demonstrator for the sector. A final roundtable will cover best production practices, sustainability trends, marketing, and attracting new generations to rural areas.

This event is a prime opportunity to explore the future of virgin olive oil through digital innovation and sustainability.
