EU Values Overcoming Borders: A cross-border dialogue in Oradea

The Interreg Romania Hungary Programme is hosting the event "EU Values Overcoming Borders" in Oradea, Romania, on November 27 2024.

This 1.5-hour event brings together the general public to enjoy exploring the transformative power of EU values in fostering cross-border unity and cooperation.

A keynote address by Mr. Adrian Cioroianu, a distinguished historian, diplomat, and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, highlights the event. His presentation explores the role of EU values in strengthening ties across borders, with a special focus on the collaboration between Romania and Hungary through Interreg Programmes.

The session is conducted in Romanian, with simultaneous translation into Hungarian, ensuring accessibility for all participants.

This event offers a platform to examine how shared values and collaborative programmes like Interreg contribute to breaking down barriers and building stronger, united communities across borders.
