Celebrating Europe together, on the ground!

Interreg Cooperation Day is your invitation to show citizens what happens when regions work together. Every year, Interreg programmes and partners host public events across Europe, turning European cooperation into something real, local and human.

Two girls stand with their backs to the camera, coloring and drawing on a large illustrated wall decorated with characters, animals, and European Union logos promoting European Cooperation Day.

Who makes it all happen?

Interreg programmes and partners across the continent take the lead in organising events that bring cooperation to life. To make that easier, Interact steps in with tools, materials and this very website, all designed to support local teams in planning, promoting and sharing their activities.

What kind of events can you organise?

Interreg Cooperation Day events come in many shapes and sizes. Here are the formats to inspire your celebration

And much more!

Participation in the Interreg Cooperation Day offers a great opportunity for the programmes to reach out together to the people who are not generally familiar with Interreg.

Join us!

It is voluntary and, in practice, participation means organising one or more local events or activities. Given the goals of Interreg Cooperation Day, programmes share one belief: the greater number of participating programmes, the more successful the campaign will be.
