Description

The 5th open call for proposals of Interreg V-A Lithuania-Poland cooperation programme supporting bilateral cooperation projects is launched on the continuous basis (applications are assessed right after submission to the JS) starting from 4th May 2020. Collection of applications shall last until all funds will be committed, but not later than 30th September, 2020, 23:59 (GMT + 02:00 – Lithuanian time).

The overall objective of the Programme is to foster smart, sustainable and inclusive growth in the border area through cross-border cooperation. The Programme seeks to contribute to regional growth and quality of life through closer cross-border cooperation between people and institutions of the Programme area.

Strategic priority during the 5th call for proposals will be given to the projects directed at the COVID-19 pandemic response: both in relation to answering current emergency needs, as well as in mitigating impact of the outbreak on various aspects of life (economic, social and other).

During the 5th open call for proposals applications including activities which contribute to the following priorities are awaited:

Priority 1. Preserving and protecting the environment and promoting resource efficiency;

Priority 2. Promoting sustainable and quality employment and supporting labour mobility;

Priority 3. Promoting social inclusion, combating poverty and any discrimination;

Priority 4. Enhancing the institutional capacity of public authorities and stakeholders and an efficient public administration.

85 % of the total eligible project costs are co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the project partners have to contribute by 15 % from their own resources. The minimum total eligible budget per application is more than 50.000,00 euro, the maximum total budget per application is 1 million euro. The indicative amount to be distributed for all four Programme priorities is 11,4 mln. EUR of ERDF funds. There are no limitations for institutions to act as Lead Beneficiary in several projects within the same priority.
