On social media, filters, humor and mental health 

In 2026, Interreg Cooperation Day celebrates its 15th anniversary under the theme Stronger Together. As part of the celebrations, the Bratislava Region, coordinated by its Interact Department, is organising a thematic event for secondary school students. 

On 1 October 2026, from 10:00h to 12:00h, the Synagogue Senec will host a moderated discussion combined with artistic performances (stand-up comedy and music).  

The discussion will focus on: 

• The impact of social media on mental health 

• The power of words, disinformation, and communication 

• The boundaries of humor in the online environment 

A morning designed to open honest conversations about life in the borderless digital world, together.
