The Rhythm of the European Union

Throughout September, countries across Europe organise cultural, recreational and sporting activities to commemorate European Cooperation Day (21 September).

Every year, the Interact Valencia office joins in this celebration to bring Europe closer to its citizens. This year, in collaboration with the FlaValenco company, we are organising a theatrical flamenco performance. Entitled "El Compás de la Unión Europea" ("The Rhythm of the European Union"), the show will tell the story of the European Union’s evolution and highlight the European values of peace, unity, cooperation, diversity, freedom and respect.

In addition, before and after the performance, attendees will be able to freely visit the works displayed as part of the exhibition "More than 30 Years of European Cooperation in the Valencian Region". The exhibition panels showcase a range of Interreg cooperation projects led by Valencian organisations or involving organisations from the region.
