As Interreg Cooperation Day celebrates 15 years of bringing people together across borders, the BALTFLOODS consortium comprising City of Lappeenranta, Norwegian University of Science and Technology and Municipality of Gjøvik is pleased to invite you to the celebration by highlighting the value of transnational cooperation in building more resilient communities.
We are delighted to invite Norwegian municipalities, research institutions, emergency response organizations, regional authorities, and other stakeholders to participate in this special event dedicated to climate resilience, smart environmental monitoring and citizen engagement.

Participants will learn about Interreg funding opportunities and cooperation programmes, while also exploring practical examples of how traditional stormwater management approaches can be strengthened with digital tools and data-driven solutions.
Through a combination of presentations, interactive discussions, a flood simulation exercise, digital tool demonstrations, and pilot site visits, participants will gain insights about 3Ps

Predict flood events using digital monitoring, forecasting, and warning systems.
Prepare communities through coordinated response planning and stakeholder collaboration.
