Interreg Cooperation Day 2026: "Nature, Science & Cross-Border Collaboration"

A two-day event fostering dialogue, workshops, and hands-on experiences in the West Pomeranian Landscape Parks by Interreg Germany/Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania/Brandenburg-Poland

This interactive two-day event (September 17–18, 2026) combines:

• Expert talks and panel discussions on protected areas, climate change, and sustainable tourism (e.g., Prof. Robert Czerniawski, University of Szczecin).
• Interactive workshops:
• Cultural exchange (German-Polish youth collaboration).
• Creative workshop on sustainable tourism (Day 2).
• Practical experiences:
• VR tour of the Lower Oder Valley.
• Guided walk around Emerald Lake.
• Joint barbecue and feedback sessions.
• Target groups: School students (14–17 years), scientists, project partners, and local stakeholders.
• Languages: German/Polish with simultaneous interpretation.

Key focus: Developing cross-border solutions for environmental challenges in the Euroregion Pomerania.
