Experience Rio Minho: Nautical Adventures Across Borders

The VISIT_RIO_MINHO_PLUS project, funded by Interreg VI-A Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) 2021–2027, invites you to explore the Rio Minho like never before.

The days 1, 4, 15, 17, 22 September 2026, a series of nautical experiences will take place across the cross-border river, offering boat trips, kayaking, and accessible activities for all. Developed by 14 local operators, these 26 unique activities—with 300 spots available—span the estuary, middle, and inland sections of the river, connecting both Portuguese and Galician shores.

This programme not only consolidates the "Rio Minho navegável" tourism brand but also highlights the shared heritage and natural beauty of the region. By uniting resources, stakeholders, and initiatives from both sides of the border, the event embodies the spirit of "Stronger Together", turning the Rio Minho into a vibrant, cross-border tourism destination.
