Shaping the Future Together: Citizen Participation Days for the Rio Minho Urban Agendas

As part of the REDE_GOV_MINHO project under the Interreg VI-A Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) 2021–2027 programme, the AECT Rio Minho is hosting two Citizen Participation Days on 6–9 October 2026.

These events are a cornerstone in developing the Cross-Border Urban Agendas for the Eurocities of Minho and Foz do Minho, which together encompass eight municipalities in Portugal and Galicia.

The sessions are open to citizens, associations, businesses, educational institutions, and local organisations, offering a platform to discuss, refine, and prioritise actions for the future of these shared territories. Through a structured methodology—LEARN, DISCUSS, PROPOSE, PRIORITISE—participants will contribute to shaping the Action Plans for both Eurocities. This initiative exemplifies the power of cross-border cooperation, bringing together communities and institutions to address common challenges and opportunities, all under the banner of "Stronger Together".

Location: Municipalities of both Eurocities
