Interreg Cooperation Day 2026 Celebrates 15 Years in Zavrč, Following the Gold Trail
On 22 September 2026, the Slovenian town of Zavrč hosted a new edition of Interreg Cooperation Day (IC Day), a particularly special occasion as the event marked its 15th anniversary.
"Following the Gold Trail – A Cross-Border Adventure"
Under this theme, more than 160 participants from Slovenia and Croatia, including 80 children, took part in activities inspired by the shared cultural and natural heritage of the Drava River.

Rafting
Gold panning demonstrations
Treasure hunts
E-bike adventures
Cross-Border Cooperation in Action
The event was organized in close cooperation with the "Goldsmith Adventures" project, co-financed by the Interreg Slovenia-Croatia Programme 2021-2027.
The day highlighted the importance of cross-border cooperation in promoting sustainable tourism, cultural heritage, and stronger local communities.
