Where stories come to life

The Interreg Project Slam is the European storytelling competition that brings those stories into the spotlight - not only to be heard, but to be experienced, celebrated and remembered. More than a competition, it is a European journey that transforms project achievements into compelling narratives, turns written stories into professional visual productions and culminates on a live stage where Interreg projects receive the recognition they deserve.

What is Interreg Slam?

Interreg Slam invites projects across Europe to showcase their human impact through storytelling.

Participants receive professional guidance to shape their story, selected finalists benefit from full video production support, and the final six projects present their stories live at the Interreg Knowledge Fair in March 2027.

Throughout the journey, stories gain visibility across Europe, including a public social media campaign reaching hundreds of thousands of people.

Three awards are presented at the end of the competition:

  • the Interreg Slam Winner chosen by live audience vote

  • the European Commission Award

  • the Social Media Award
