New opportunity for Interreg projects to go global

Are you ready to scale the results of your regional cooperation projects internationally? This is a unique opportunity for local and regional authorities involved in Interreg projects to build on their experience and contribute to sustainable, innovative, and inclusive development on a global scale.

The IURC supports results-oriented partnerships between EU and non-EU subnational governments.

Activities include:

  • Thematic workshops and webinars
  • Advanced study and cooperation visits
  • Development of pilot projects with academic, civil society, and business partners, using the quadruple helix approach

Themes of cooperation include:

  • For cities: urban innovation, mobility, circular economy, and climate resilience.
  • For regions: regional innovation, Agri-food systems, Industrial Modernisation, Clean Energy, and Blue Economy.

Does your region have successful Interreg experience? This programme is your chance to share your solutions globally, test ideas in new contexts, and strengthen your international presence.

Deadline to apply: 30 June 2025
