This year, projects will compete in five categories, aligned with the objectives of cohesion policy:

  1. A Competitive and Smart Europe
  2. A Green Europe
  3. A Connected Europe
  4. A Social and Inclusive Europe
  5. A Europe Closer to Citizens

In the 2025 edition, the jury shortlisted ten Interreg projects as finalists, showcasing some of the most inspiring examples of cooperation across Europe. Three prizes were ultimately awarded: one project earned a double distinction, winning both the Green Europe category and the Public Choice Award, while another project was honoured in the Europe Closer to Citizens category.

More information on how to apply to this competition and how the prizes will be awarded is available here.
