Winners of the Youth4Regions blogging contest

How to improve the waterway management in the Danube with Interreg’s support is the focus of the two winners of the blog contest organized by DG Regio for Romanian Journalism students in the framework of the Interreg Annual Meeting. The first place goes to Andreea Seba on her report Innovation in navigation filmed while visiting the Danube STREAM project. The winning article collected 936 votes. The second place is given to Alexandru Stanciu on his work Danube STREAM – Common river. Common Goal. The first runner-up gathered 923 votes.

The students’ articles were hosted on the Interreg Highlights section of the Interreg.eu website and an online public vote was conducted to choose the best articles. The winners will be invited to attend the European Week of Regions and Cities in October, in the framework of the Youth4Regions program. This will allow them to deepen their knowledge and understanding of European topics and further engage with European Cooperation – an interest that sparked their participation in the contest.
