Interreg GO! event: A key moment for Interreg
For 35 years, Interreg has been a key driver of European integration, fostering cross-border, transnational, and interregional cooperation. The Interreg GO! event, taking place on March 27-28, 2025, in the twin cities of Gorizia and Nova Gorica on the Italian-Slovenian border, will be a pivotal moment in preparing for post-2027 Interreg programmes.
The event will present the results of public consultations for the EU's next Multiannual Financial Framework, engaging nearly 15 000 citizens and key stakeholders. Discussions will focus on shared challenges such as border security, migration, environmental threats, and disaster prevention, with a special emphasis on cooperation with EU candidate and neighbouring countries.
