Estonia and Latvia are places with excellent opportunities for people to lead successful and fulfilling lives, amongst happiest in Europe.
We support ideas that help Estonia and Latvia to grow through neighbourly cooperation.
The programme supports joint projects under four priorities:
- active and attractive business environment;
- clean and valued living environment;
- better network of harbours;
- integrated labour market.
The key authority for implementation of the Estonia-Latvia programme is the Estonian Ministry of Finance, which governs the Managing Authority and the Audit Authority of the programme. The Ministry of Finance also represents National Responsible Authority in Estonia, where in Latvia it is the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development. Programme management.
The Joint Secretariat (JS) provides information to potential applicants about funding opportunities and assist project implementers. The JS is located in Tartu, Estonia and hosted by Enterprice Estonia. The JS is supported by the Information and consultation point (ICP) in Riga, Latvia that is hosted by the State Regional Development Agency. Contacts.
