Description
Following the Russian military aggression against Ukraine and in line with the Commission’s decision to fully implement all EU restrictive measures, the Commission has suspended the cooperation with Russia and its ally Belarus in the European Neighbourhood Instrument cross-border cooperation programmes (ENI CBC) as well as in the Interreg Baltic Sea region programme.
The Managing Authority of the Poland-Russia Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 has suspended all payments (advances or refunds) to the Russian beneficiaries since 28th February 2022.
The main objective of the Poland-Russia CBC Programme 2014-2020 is to support cross-border cooperation in the social, environmental, economic and institutional sphere. Through these spheres, the foundations are built for building and developing cross border cooperation and good neighbourly relations in the cross border region.
