Interreg Cooperation Day Clean-Up in Hungary

On 23rd September 2024, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County's Government Office held a clean-up at a NATURA2000 area near Nyíregyháza, Hungary, involving 15 colleagues from the Environment Protection, Nature Preservation, and Waste Management Departments.

This initiative was part of the Interreg Clean-up Contest under the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine Programme for the Interreg Cooperation Day 2024.

The clean-up aimed to preserve a former shooting range, now an important natural habitat, while promoting sustainable practices. The event highlighted the importance of environmental stewardship within the local community.
