The day will feature participation from key representatives of the OECD and the European Commission (DG Regio), offering a unique platform to discuss and promote cooperation between regions across Europe. The agenda includes:
- Roundtable Discussion on the EGTCs in the Greater Region: Experts will explore the role of European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation (EGTCs) and their contribution to fostering cross-border partnerships.
- Workshops on the Future of Interreg: Participants will engage in workshops aimed at reflecting on the future of the Interreg programme, gathering input from stakeholders to shape upcoming cooperation initiatives.
- Showcase of Cross-border Projects: The event will also feature presentations of various transnational projects designed for and by citizens, highlighting the tangible benefits of regional cooperation.
This event provides an excellent opportunity for policymakers, local authorities, and citizens to gain insights into the future of European regional cooperation and to engage in meaningful discussions about enhancing collaboration across borders.
