The Estonia-Latvia Programme is a cross-border collaboration initiative under the European Territorial Cooperation goal (Interreg). The programme continues the cooperation between Estonia and Latvia, which began with the Estonia-Latvia-Russia INTERREG IIIA Priority within the Baltic Sea Region INTERREG III B Neighbourhood Programme in 2004, followed by the Estonia-Latvia programme for 2007-2013 and 2014-2020. It is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Estonia, and Latvia. The ERDF is one of the EU Cohesion Policy funds.
From 2021 to 2027, the European Regional Development Fund (Interreg) provides €24 million in financing for the Estonia-Latvia Programme. The Programme has four priorities that support the European Union’s strategic goals.
